CIRCULAR # 7/05 – Promulgation of Guidelines for Eucharistic Celebration

TO ALL PRIESTS IN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF CEBU

Reverend Fathers/Mosignor:

As postulated by the Cebu Archdiocesan Pastoral Assembly of 2004 and pursuant to the General Instructions of the Roman Missal of 2002 and to the Instructions of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacrament “Redemptionis Sacramentum” of 2004, I HEREBY PROMULGATE the GUIDELINES for the CELEBRATION of the EUCHARIST in the ARCHDIOCESE OF CEBU, EFFECTIVE EASTER SUNDAY 2005.

I enjoin all Parish Priests, Parochial Vicars, Chaplains, Religious Superiors and all Priests of Cebu to follow the guidelines faithfully and with reverence, and to properly catechize our people concerning such guidelines.

May the Lord of the Eucharist and his Mother Mary continue to keep us all in their Love and Protection.
