Congregational Vision
Permeated by the Carmelite-Palautian Spirituality, we Carmelite Missionaries are discerning women of intense prayer, persistent in self-emptying and anchored on the Mystical Christ. We are joyful and prophetic witnesses on Communion and Hope in the heart of the Church. Like Mary, the life giving virgin, we give ourselves in generous humble service to the people of God, especially the poor.
Mission Statement
As daughters of Francisco Palau, we:
- reclaim and live fully the essence of the Gospel, the Charism and the
Vows.
As passionate lovers of Christ & His Church, we:
- contemplate Christ as Lover, Beloved in faith, hope & love.
- experience, love and serve the Church broken by corruption, poverty
and degradation of moral values.
- love & identify with Mary, model of interior life, mother & perfect type
of the Church.
As Contemplative apostolates, we:
- identify with Christ by bearing the hardships & struggles of life as an
expression of true discipleship;
- work with passion towards renewed integral evangelization;
- share the richness of our charism & spirituality as our contribution to
the renewal of spiritual life in the Church.
As prophets of communion & hope, we:
- live as “small churches” to bear witness to communion & hope in a
divided, individualistic & materialistic world;
- form a community of disciples where justice, love & solidarity are the
inner driving forces of development;
- dialogue with other Christian & non-Christian religious & cultures in
South East Asia;
- Collaborate with the Church in the empowerment of the laity.
As witness of Gospel values, we:
- proclaim by our life the Good News of salvation & liberation from
anything oppressive to human dignity.
